Not Everyone’s Buying What Billionaires Are Selling
Last night, thousands of Arizonans gathered at Mullett Arena on Arizona State University’s campus for the Fight Oligarchy rally with Senator Bernie Sanders and Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. The arena hit capacity, with thousands more gathered outside.
Many Arizonans are sick of billionaires buying elections, silencing dissent, flirting with fascism, and tearing apart what’s left of our social safety net. We live in the richest country in the world, yet inequality keeps getting worse every year. Crowds like this one are popping up all over the country because people want a government (and an economy) that works for everyone, not just the ultra-wealthy.
